Leroy is now 4-0 beating Lanigan, Drake, Watrous and now Wynyard. Are they better than the initial sniff test or are other rosters weak to start the season as guys are busy playing Dad/Husband and haven’t prioritised hockey yet?

Their pickups this year are elite. Great resumes. Looks like they were considered an afterthought but they have to be in the conversation now for a solid shot at the title. IMO it’s more than a hot start.

6-5 Leroy in overtime. Great game. Leroy is strong however I thought Wynyard outplayed them for the majority of the game. Wynyard had double Leroy’s shots. Good showing by Leroy’s goalie. I was pretty impressed with Wynyards “old boys”. They seem like they still got another year in them. Great game. One other thing I will mention is the refs are out of control. Who’s in charge of these guys? Tons of missed calls. Stuff the whole rink sees but somehow the guys getting paid to see are the only ones that don’t. Not surprising i guess. Seems to be the trend. Worth the price of admission tonight. I’ll be watching their next meeting.

Leroy’s goalie was outstanding, multiple incredible saves. He was the first star of the game by a mile. Wynyard carried 75% of the play, shots were 58-30. No Hobbs for Wynyard, Leroy was missing a couple forwards I believe.

I was not at the game but heard it was tilted in wynyerds favor. 2nd hand knowledge but they were missing weigel, kuntz and kunz on d. Atomanchuck, Landry and some other forward. Sounds like they squeeked this one out regardless which is a win.
