I think quite a few people cared about the Round Lake Bears judging by the amount of hype and people they brought out to watch Senior A last year. Hate them all you want, but they had people talking about Senior Provincials again. No one stopped talking about senior provincials, it’s always been alive and well. They just brought a whole different hype to it with their massive pay roll and big names they brought to the team. It was great to see their fan base being so big and the amount of support they got, but don’t kid yourself, they didn’t save senior provincials like you’re suggesting. Did I say they saved it? They brought a lot more eyes and talk to senior provincials than has been on it for years and years. If you can’t see that then you’re kidding yourself. You think going from 20+ teams in all divisions 20 years ago to what we have now is doing great? |

Nothing is how it used to be in small towns regardless of what it is. So nice try. If you think the attention they brought was all good, think again. The fan base was good and crowds were good, but the way they tried to just fight and be goons when things weren’t going their way was not the best look. Dont get me wrong, they brought tons of Crowds and revenue in, which is awesome. But they all eyes on them weren’t for the good….they had one hell of a team. |

You can at least say round lake shined light on senior “A”, you lack hockey brain if ya don’t, you either hate them or love em and I f#%en love em ! Go round lake !
