Hard to even take A Provincials serious. Just a massive money tournament spread over 6 weeks now. Kenaston, Wynyard, Round Lake, Lumsden, Raymore and Balcarres.

Ex-coach Yes they definitely need to get division b going again this spring. There’s a lot of those teams that will go back in to be that don’t wanna pay $10-$20,000 a game for players

*lanigan, raymore, kindersley, watrous.
What about it is a joke? You get to go watch elite hockey in your home town. The whole province is a buzz during provincials, rinks are packed, coffee rows are chatting hockey. It’s awesome. Round lake was packing rinks everywhere, no where else in the country is there senior hockey like we have. Stop whining, buy a rink burger and a beer and enjoy it.

There’s different divisions for a reason. ‘A’ provincials was elite level hockey and very fun to watch, regardless of how much money was spent. It’s one thing to spend that much money on a regular season team but if teams can afford to do it for provincials, who cares.

2000 per game to play prov. With round lake. And a huge pay day to draw some fans to cotes rink for home games killing 2 birds with one stone I heard they will enter in prov. Under the name trudeau selects. 😃😃😃😃

I think quite a few people cared about the Round Lake Bears judging by the amount of hype and people they brought out to watch Senior A last year. Hate them all you want, but they had people talking about Senior Provincials again.

Hate them all you want, but they had people talking about Senior Provincials again. No one stopped talking about senior provincials, it’s always been alive and well. They just brought a whole different hype to it with their massive pay roll and big names they brought to the team. It was great to see their fan base being so big and the amount of support they got, but don’t kid yourself, they didn’t save senior provincials like you’re suggesting.
