The Notekeu typically doesn't have too many ex-pros come through. Milt Mastad in Glentworth and Rejean Stringer in Gravelbourg were by far the best since the 90s (maybe Darren Martens also?).
That said, who's the best player in '24-'25? I added Shupe and Aulie. Feel free to name others.

Doyle mcmorris played in dub and with mossbank and Coronach in 2000s, Mike costley and Mike elder in their primes were probably superstar level for this league. Travis briesbois when he wanted to be was at the top for couple years. Some good names there, I played against a lot of them in the day. Prior to that, Coronach had a ridiculous team in about 2004-5 - Lanny Silbernagel, McMorris, Russ West, all the Elders, etc. It was glorious watching them walk all over Ponteix and Hodgeville. |

Evan Schwabe is the only answer. He was putting up like 5 PPG over his yrs with Assiniboia.

Schwab captained Minnesota gophers I belive and made big money in a high euro league. I’d argue his career might be better then aulie stint in NHL.

I’d argue his career might be better then aulie stint in NHL. Ponteix had a few ringers - Hurford, Goebel, Hope. Schmiess and Brawn in Hodge. |

I’d argue his career might be better then aulie stint in NHL. Not a chance. Aulie played over 100 games in the NHL, not a league in the world touches that. Then when he was done there he went to the DEL which is a top league over seas as well. Over 10 years in pro, not to mention a world junior gold medalist. |
