Any teams looking like they are going to try to qualify for the Allan Cup since its' in Innisfail, Alberta for 2025? Seems like a short trip might make it enticing to somebody.
Starting this year Ontario is letting their Senior AA league champion (OEHL) play the Allan Cup Hockey champion for the Ontario spot in the Allan Cup.

Id have to think the one team it would make sense to even try would be Kenaston. They have such a deep core of players to start with. You can have 10 AP's to your roster. biggest thing is if there is only one team that enters in SK then you have to travel to get some exhibition games in which gets expensive. Talking with some guys that have put together a team it would cost between 150-200K to do it right.

There would be some other teams who would definitely be good enough

The Allan Cup needs a serious overhaul. Had someone tell me Kenastons Provincial team would have smoked the Alberta team that went to the cup last year.

Would make sense for a team like the Round Lake Bears to try for the 2025 Allan Cup. Would be huge for First Nations hockey in the province and in Canada.
