I've heard that the PWHL has a rule that if you score short handed, that ends the penalty/powerplay. I like the idea but I have a lot of questions, does that only apply to minor 2 minute penalties? I haven't watched any of their games but the write ups say it increases the intensity in the penalty kill.
What's everyone else's thought on trying this out in senior hockey?

The Champions Hockey League in Europe has this rule. They also added to their rules that you serve the full 2 minutes on a minor penalty regardless of goals scored agains, and if a team scores on a delayed penalty the offending player still serves the penalty
