I am not a fan of theirs at all, in fact I support a different team in their league and I’ll be honest I really don’t like them. But 5 final appearances in 6 years. 3 championships and probably a 4th if Covid doesn’t shut down one of them, that’s a damn good team regardless of what league they play in… or who you cheer for lol. |

Great list. I’ll be honest I think Birch Hills deserves an HM. I am not a fan of theirs at all, in fact I support a different team in their league and I’ll be honest I really don’t like them. But 5 final appearances in 6 years. 3 championships and probably a 4th if Covid doesn’t shut down one of them, that’s a damn good team regardless of what league they play in… or who you cheer for lol. Completely agree 100%, Birch hills wouldn’t beat any of these teams. I guess it just depends on how you build your list, if we are going off of pure talent and quality of team this list is awesome. Personally when ranking teams I like to consider the teams performance in their league/ provincial division. Assiniboia is another great example, dominant team in their league for many years, they deserve an HM, would they beat any of the teams on this list… definitely not, but still a good team within their respective league. |

I give more credit to a team that didn’t add a bunch for provincials. actually if Wadena was better team they would have won--but nope--hawks beat them including 3 ttimes including league.....so i got no problem ranking wadena 7--but that league team...even though they had minimal if at all roster changes for prov team---they beat nokomis as they should have and then beat hawks once in prov so for this u rank prov team 7 ?? so i got no problem with rankings if the provincial designation taken off of rank---sorry just had to be technical lol--and the hawks rostered i believe 5 extra guys....one didnt play all prov run (Janke-unless he serwing and Ruether were excellent signings but they again didnt play every game as they had league commitments---Boehm was steady on backend but missed 1-2 games early---and the guy i cant spell #23 he didnt play every game as well and dont think he appeard until leroy series--so yes they picked up guys but not like all 5 were ever in uniform at the same time and like i said it was more like 4 guys playing.....and i dont know how this compares with other teams...i think a few picked up more than 4 and i know some were less than 4---so its not like they brought in 7 or 8 new guys---cheers |

and cant let the season end without another dig to Foam lake management--if all managers and executive ranked provincially---what 80 teams ?? (no clue) but rank FL managment 80 lol lol #always havea backup with experience hahah

Any team with “league/provincial” indicates that they were basically the exact same teams. So essentially you can remove “league/provincial” all together and just call them Wadena. Wadena is a better team than both Watrous-league and Watrous-provincial. Except they lost... But still the better team. Wadena won a league championship. Watrous won nothing. A lot of these teams beat the other at some point in time. Watrous won that series at that point in time but they are still not the better team. |
