Anderson will find a new home soon here… hearing murmurs Hanley is gonna pack up shop and Aberdeen is gonna slot in to that open spot in the east. I too have heard this from multiple people about Hanley. Must be some smoke to this. Hope for their sake it isn't true.

I’ve also heard this from several different sources but never directly from anyone in Hanley, but I’ve heard it enough to think there’s gotta be some truth. Not sure what their local core is like these days, do they have enough locals to keep going if lots of their guys go to Aberdeen, or are their locals going to Aberdeen too?

Maybe a few Kenaston locals could go to Hanley oh wait they don’t have any.

Hanley will be back next season can 100% guarantee that! Good news for Hanley, does that mean Aberdeen doesn’t get in? Or does the TRHL expand further?

Not really about odd or even numbers, just the league is getting large. 12 teams is the biggest I can ever remember a league being (please correct me if I’m wrong) you get into the 13-15 team range you’re adding more games, more travel , more money.

Rumour has that the league will be 13 teams next season with 24 regular season games. No more divisions. Play everyone twice.

24 games is quite a jump. 16 is not enough. 18 or 20 would be my suggestion. You can do anything you want with a scheduler. Divisions not necessary imo. In a perfect world 1 plays 2 in the final. quote author=" lefthander" source="/post/22739/thread" timestamp="1712674389"] 24 games is a monster season these days, I know back in the glory days seasons were this long but for current day Senior 24 games is a long haul, especially when you add in playoffs and provincials (granted nobody from the TRHL really enters provs) [/quote]

Twin rivers is getting way too big. Time to make two leagues out of it.

Would be nice to get rid of birch hills, hanley, shellbrook and cudworth. Just keep the teams around saskatoon.
