Lafleche flyers was lining things up last summer to resurrect their team and pretty hopeful to be back this fall. I’ve heard Glentworth might be tough to come back. I belive they would lose 3-4 lafleche kids and anyone else that may go there. Fingers crossed that’s not the case
To my knowledge Milestone hasn’t actually reached out yet but it’s early and they just finished last week but this time last year radville and Rouleau had already contacted by this time but they were starting fresh.

I don't believe yellow grass reached out til well into the summer last year so never know. I also wondered if Midale was considering a move, they have been a punching bag in the big 6 last few years and this league may allow them to compete or at very least be middle of the pack.

Makes sense for Midale. They used to play in the Soo Line Hockey League.

I know the midale guys like to make lots of Div3 jokes towards this league all in good fun but thier pride might keep them from coming lol. That being said. Midale to Coronach or Assiniboia is a touch less kms then moosomin. But if they have guys mostly from estevan or east of midale any them towns then make sense to stay big 6 but yes they would be competitive in the notekeu .

Hypothetical here but
Soo Avonlea Midale Milestone Radville Rouleau Yellow grass
Wood river Assinboia Coronach Glentworth Gravelbourg Hodgeville Lafleche
Home and home in your divison One game each vs other div 3 home 3 away 16 gm season. Top two each div get a bye Bottoms 4 play first round and so on. Who says no?!

Lafleche will most likely be the only entry into the league next season.
Coronach Avonlea Yellow Grass Radville Rouleau
Assiniboia Glentworth Gravelbourg Hodgeville Lafleche
Home and home with each team = 18 game schedule, top 4 in each division make playoffs

And lafleche is almost a for sure other then official meeting vote. Still hearing Glentworth gonna be tough to get team together if they are out of assume Coronach slides back to WR div

Is there any reason why Milestone would not be accepted? Nice rink right in the centre of the Soo Division Only hiccup I could see is the fact they been very competitive team in a much better league other wise rink and location make them no brainer

Their 3 import rule would limit them to a completely different team from the current one I believe.

A couple Guys may have to be let go but I imagine if they move some Of those guys will wanna stay in the QV as they are out of regina and that would be better for there travel. Some of there stronger players are jr b guys and local guys. It wouldn't be a completely different team that's forsure.

Only allowed 3 imports from out of town unless they're over age 35, any other import must live in the town team is based in. There's looking like at least 7 to 9 imports, this would eliminate a FEW of the current team.

They may have to let 3-4 guys go but not start from scratch

If it’s true they are wanting to go with more local team anyway some of them guys might not be coming back regardless I also think the import rule was through together at one meeting when YG came in to keep them from pulling Red wings out of weyburn.
