Almost Game Day! Predictions? Congrats to both teams.
If both teams are healthy, I think (hope) they split the first 4 games and it all comes down to a Game 5. Not ready to predict that game yet.

Dinsmore’s injuries have really decimated them. This should be over in three unless Hobbs steals a game.

Not being injured is a part of being good.

Not being injured is a part of being good. That’s interesting. Never thought of it that way. Not sure I agree with that but would like to hear what others think. Do you mean having players that are both durable and talented? Or that a player is better when he can both play the game to score and play the game to avoid injury? Does that mean the Blackhawks and Connor Bedard aren’t as good because he wasn’t able to avoid getting injured??? I guess that’s true - if Bedard had the insane talent of continuing to play the way he does while avoiding all injury that would definitely make him better.

Sometimes the best ability is availability.

Being durable is a big part of being a good hockey player. Playing the game in a way where you can avoid injury, while still being an effective hockey player is a special skill. That is why Gretzky was so special, considering his size and the generation he played in, he rarely got injured. Bedard has been fairly durable so far in his career. I wouldn't say he is injury prone.

It is sad to see what could have been a great series ruined by the injuries that Dinsmore got hit with. Would have been great to see Wilkie lose too.
