Everybody knows Cam Taylor is the best goalie in the league. He just doesn’t get any votes playing on Meota Statistics show that Bella is the best goalie in the league. She just doesn’t get any votes playing on Neilburg. Lol Obviously no one could bare to have a female being the top goalie in a men’s league. That would be too hard on all the egos. So which is it? She doesn’t get any votes playing on Neilburg? OR She doesn’t get any votes because that would damage the big manly men’s egos? |

The only thing the league keeps track of are team stats with goals against and wins and surprise surprise, the top team has the two “best” goalies by that definition. Nothing about the huge difference in quality and quantity of shots these goalies face on a nightly basis Wins, losses, gaa, is what is kept track of. So you are saying the guy with the losing record and middle of the pack gaa deserves to be goalie of the year? He won last year to, when Taylor should have won. Who picks the awards the trophy sponsor? |

Those are all meaningless stats, save percentage is the only stat that could end this argument. Flath is easily in the top 2 in the league if not the best and he had one win this year. If a goalie on a weaker team faces 65 shots a night and gives up 5 he is better then the goalie who gets 15 shots and gives up 3. That’s just common sense
