I heard the NHL is looking into implementing a rule around Connor Mcdavid and not allowing him to go top speed. It’s hindering the look of the league. Making everyone else look slow and a step behind is hindering the leagues chances of getting a crowd, as nobody wants to see the best player in the world dominate. Along with that, not only will they punish Mcdavid and the oilers every time he goes top speed, they will in fact award a participation ribbon to the player, that inevitable was blown passed by the cheating Mcdavid.
Now replace Mcdavid with Wilkie outlaws and realize how simply in pathetic you guys sound. Learn to appreciate a team doing something special in front of your own eyes.

No one is talking about the series in C. Crowd sizes are poor compared to others. Like I said - congratulations to the winners the Wilkie Outlaws. Unfortunate the hockey is boring because they are so much better than the other teams.

Let’s have an NHL playoffs with 1st place in the regular season against the 9 teams floundering in the middle of the standings. Insert Wilkie as first place. That sure would be a special Stanley Cup win!

Couldn't agree more... Davidson's 4 year run with 4 consecutive banners (2-D + 2-C) would make alot of people angry these days. I was witness to that run as an opponent and as a senior hockey supporter...great local talent with high end imports, they were deserving of those titles. Kenaston's C run was tough and it can be argued their D run the year before was even tougher. People these days despise excellence...these same people endorse mediocrity, want everyone to receive an good guy/try hard award and want to shoehorn all 100+ Saskatchewan senior hockey teams into provincials despite 50% of the teams having zero interest in entering. Not sure what you guys have been smoking. Kenaston winning last year was the most boring division of provincials. Nobody watched any of the games because everyone knew the outcome. Kenaston might have got bored a couple times and made it close against a couple teams but the championship was never in doubt. Same goes this year. No one is going to watch the Wilkie games because they are boring as hell when they are passing and skating circles around all the other teams. Congratulations on them for winning but brutal for the fans who want to watch some exciting senior hockey. 50/50 take home last year in Kenaston vs Davidson was over $3000...big crowds were out to watch these two rivals. While I wasn't there last night, I'm guessing the Dinsmore rink was packed to watch them vs Wilkie given communities like Dinsmore appreciate good hockey and support their team. You were one of those last year who probably called Kenaston overrated after Langenburg stomped them in game 1 right? Then on the other side of your mouth whined how unfair it was Kenaston was in C...

Heard Dinsmore was only half full. Wilkie dominated and crowd left in the third. I had seen Kenaston play last year - I knew something strange had happened in Langenburg and that the next two games would be very different as they were.

Wilkie rink holds more people so the 50/50 will probably reach $3000 on Sunday

Kenaston and Davidson have met in provincials quite a bit in D and C over the last 15-20 years (4-5 times I believe, someone can correct me), far from a poor example. You made the claim Kenaston last year played in front of small crowds...you also made the claim Wilkie is playing in front of small crowds. A person at the Dinsmore-Wilkie game last night confirmed a large crowd with a ~$2500 50/50 take home. There is zero chance in hell people in Dinsmore were leaving in the third period. Instead of complaining how unfair the C bracket is...perhaps you ought to enjoy good senior teams in provincials and league play who have a great mix of local talent with dedicated imports.

Where were all Dinsmore players? Seen they only had 12 skaters.

Wish there was a vaccine for the injury bug. Boys put in a great effort but couldn’t outlast a talented Wilkie squad. That bug ruined what could have been a fun entertaining series. Kinda killed the atmosphere for a provincial semi-final. Unfortunate but thems the breaks.

Other than a bad 5 minutes in the 2nd period the first game this was a close series and a good fun series to watch. Thanks for a good batch of hockey and yes it would have been good to have you at your best and had another game! Didn’t catch you for a beer sorry!

Congratulations Outlaws. Tough series Dynamos, great effort. That’s one good Wilkie squad. Let’s get that Valley title.

Wilkie has small crowds because not because they are good, but because no one in Wilkie cares and the ones that do care are 60+. Most other towns would pack their rink still if they were winning every game
