Redvers has a strong team that was bolstered by three Rocanville players, Howie, Hepett, and Regel. As the game wore down, the Rockets steadily outmanned and outmuscled Craik and won every one on one puck battle. Best line on the ice was Kopeck and the two Millers, Jordon and Kenton. Smallchild and Gaudet were strong on the back end. Matthewson solid in net.
Midway through the game, Craik's #2 Townsend was assessed a 5 minute major for slew footing and a game misconduct. On the same play he also crushed Bradey Fidierchuk into the boards resulting in a likely dislocated shoulder. He did not return.
Estimated crowd at 500/600. Pot of gold $1660 won by a Redvers fan. Shots on goal were 61-17 or so. Redvers has more size, strength and skill and should easily advance to the next round.

I have no doubt that Craik is better when jones is there, but you were outshot 3-1 and outworked in all aspects. It looked like Craik is just trying to get the season over with. I was expecting Watkins to be a factor but I barely noticed him. You can’t win if you can only score 1 goal, and you can win when you give up 60+ shots. I expect the game to be closer in Craik but they don’t have the Skill and hustle to play with Rockets for 60 minutes .
