Just goes to show that the Big Six isn’t has strong has the QVHL has the Big Six has to pick up numerous players like Carlyle and Moosomin to even have a chance to compete. Balgonie doesn’t count. Look at Milestone basically there regular team only a couple pickups not like Carlyle with 7 pickups. Moosomin had Bienfait’s top players and that didn’t help.

What I was stating that Milestone is basically their league team not like Carlyle stating facts bud |

Balgonie should be embarrassed. Ice a team of 11 skaters. Should have stayed folded. Complete arrogance and ignorance all over that organization.

Kudos to Balgonie and their outstanding net minder. Only dressing 11 skaters, Carlyle came at them in waves and only Holtby kept them in the game. It was 2-0 Bisons with 13 to go and 2-2 with 4 to play. An empty netter sealed the deal. Final shots 62-24. Pot of gold guaranteed at $3,500.00 won by a fan from Arcola. Estimated crowd was at least 700, maybe 800. Good crowds expected for either Milestone or Round Lake. Ochapowace is only 85 miles away and the Carlyle crowd could top 1,000.
One other item of extreme interest. The Cougars put both rosters, team leaders, game sponsors and other items of note on their Facebook page, Carlyle Cougars Powered by 306AG. You took a photo and got a QR code. You then didn't need a paper program, just a good phone. Even the Cougar imports had names on their sweaters. A great experience for the 10 dollar admission.
