Everyone loves Neigum? The guy that is seen throwing tantrums like a full on toddler who missed a nap, yelling at his own team, refs, Kindo fans, other fans, swearing at women and children. Real classy guy. I can see why everyone loves him. Win one league and it’s gone to everyone’s already inflated heads. Without their import goalie they wouldn’t have won the trip home. A bunch of the SR klippers flipped off the crowd after the win. Class acts. Like father like son the ahole mindset no one can stand carried on to the JR Klippers mindset.
Ya still lost out of Provys Kindo. You still lost substantially more than the outlaws during season. Be proud of your one banner for years to come. Like the Druzinskys all of your paid talent won’t stay. You’re all so pleasant to be around I can tell.

SWHL constitution a) A centers shall be allowed 4 non-local elite players must reside within the A center corporate limits by September 1st to be eligible to play. Elite player refers to a player who has played a minimum of one season of junior A or above. the question is not why are they, because that’s easy they bring another center to the league. who wants to watch their local team play a team like unity 4 times at home in a year? The only thing that you can question is are the 4 players listed below residing in kindersley as the constitution states? Logan Drackett Nik Fomradas Logan Stephanson Lane Gillis |

Kindersley is no longer considered an A centre anymore though. Which is why they can enter B provincials.
Kindersley is allowed 3 imports on there league team in the SWHL. Drackett, Gillis, and Stephenson were there 3 imports. The rest of there players have to live in Kindersley.
The rest of the teams in the SWHL are allowed 4 to 6 imports depending on the team. And can use the 120k limit to bring players in as locals. Kindersley does have the largest population. But that doesn’t mean everyone in kindo wants to play senior hockey. The new senior team in the cross roads league is the next group of locals that want to play senior hockey. There might be 2-3 players on that team that could play with the senior klippers.
So not sure why everyone makes such a big deal of Kindos population. It’s not really that much of an advantage over the rest of teams.

They have a Jr A program to pull from and a job market to move players into. Don’t for one second think that Kindersly should not be put into a separate category than the rest of the league when it comes to imports. I don’t care what Sask hockey categorizes them as, compared to the rest of the centers in this league they are an “A” center. |

Geez ppl like to make themselves look dumb on here. This wouldn’t even be a conversation if Kindersley didn’t pull a win out of their ass in the final. They aren’t a better team than edam, Macklin or wilkie so who cares. Kindersley is also a small town so they play by the same rules.
Congrats on your small town being smaller than their small town, still have the same amount of ppl coming out of midget hockey. Macklins had more “Jr Klippers” come play for them than Kindersley has

I’ll be waiting…. No population means nothing according to league rules. And really it don’t matter that much because the league will have some serious issues in the next few years, it’ll be up to some “board members” and team reps to either deal with them or the league will join other fallen leagues. You can add other teams like walburg and lashburn, but you will lose Edam and Hafford. This sounds like no big deal, but teams like Wilkie and Kindersley will eventually struggle to get enough local talent to keep a higher grade of hockey sustainable. Look at wilkies lineup now! Aging guys with how many mid 20 year old players coming up? Bet you kindo will have the same issues, it’s the way senior hockey is going. Imports want big money, and limited imports being sought after by other leagues will put the crunch on this league. Maybe I see it differently than others, but I’ve seen a lot of leagues disappear because others refuse to restructure to maintain lower population teams. Don’t care really, just trying to make a point that at some point every team will require more imports, why are we waiting to let smaller pop teams add extra guys, or are we waiting til others need more before we let that happen. |
