Hey kristoff, if they’re so bad why don’t you put the skates on and ref? Those guys sacrifice a lot of time so guys like you can watch your local hero’s play every weekend.

Two pretty senior officials. Both will go deep in league playoffs and senior provincials. Was at the game, no issue with penalties or calls. Get your head out of your ass, your Wildcats lost one game the world isn’t ending. Penalty is a penalty no matter how many there are or is there a pre set amount of penalties for each game? i didnt say that the amount of calls where the reason one team won or lost. Get you head out of your ass. Just seems like the pace of play gets ruined when there is a million calls. Coulda been an even better game to watch If they didn’t call the game as they did which was the correct way from what I saw. Then it would have gotten out of control likely ending with someone getting hurt. And at the end of the day if the players are going to complain of no penalties are called or if a bunch are called. If you think that you can do better, between players and fans constantly complaining and being in your ear then sign up and give it a go next year. Easier to call a game from the stands than on the ice with an unbiased view. |

It was a hell of a game. But very noticeable the refs wanted it that way. But that’s the way it goes in senior hockey, they’re part of the show too. On to the next

Iykyk and I know because I was at the game. It was the Elmy and Bunko show. Worst reffing of all time ever. Kel Melnyk would turn in his grave if he was dead. I'll go ahead and say this also so someone else doesn't. If you're gonna complain about reffing go and start reffing cause refs take enough bullshit. are you stupid or just dumb? This is the most off base comment on this website and that says a lot. Shame to see moderators making such ridiculous posts, I hope you dont ref because you make it very clear that you have no idea what you're talking about. Also the comment about Melnyk, Grow up man. |

Great game, was at the game, fast and hard hitting. It embarrassing how dirty the cats are. My favorite moment of the game, Joey Leach cheap shot on Bulych, Bulych turns and lightly hacks Leach back, Leach with the dive of the year!!! Stays down for over one minute… milking, then gets up and skates to the penalty box because he got called for diving!! Great call by the ref, this big bad bully Leachc toughest guy out there cross checking everyone in sight, crumbles and folds like a dollerama tent and fakes an injury, you are embarrassing Leach…

Loving seeing all the sad cats fans comments on here. Reffing was poor but honestly have seen much worse, hockey was good, chippy game, entertaining. Finals preview likely. Would be a hell of a series between these two. From what I’ve seen this year in this league Wadena is probably the dirtiest team, lots of stick work. So the fact that these games have tonnes of penalties makes some sense to me.

Besides Wynyard, Wadena has the most PIMs on the year and it isn’t even close. Those are the numbers, they deserved every penalty they took, they choose to play a dirty game, and if the refs want to call the game by the hockey book, they should be in the box 8-10 times a game… that is the correct calls almost all of the time, was also at the game.. cry all you want Wadena… play hard and clean and the PIMs will come down

Did a quick glance back didn’t see anywhere that anyone blamed the refs for Wadena losing. Few people pointed out their opinion on a poorly reffed game. Foam lake had some bogus calls against them to. And score sheet reads a high stick for Leach not a dive. Must not know how to read English in Foam Lake….

Beats, I agree with 99% of this statement only thing I’d say is let’s leave families out of it, it’s senior hockey. That said absolutely embarrassing how long it got sold for before skating fine to the box.
