Thought RL dominated the 3rd. Top line was good. Milestone bit of penalty trouble but held on. Had the feel they were clinging to their lead for dear life. Add in a strong second line for RL to compliment king/gervais/campbell and not sure milestone would keep up. I would totally agree with this assessment. Round Lake really pulled it together in the third. I haven’t watched Milestone all year but they seemed really timid and weren’t hitting at all. Maybe not playing into Round Lakes intimidation tactics. Curious to see how the rest of the series plays out. Always seemed like Round Lake was one step away from trying to turn it into a goon squad. |

wow just watched end of game--all the milestone guy did was win faceoff and then 22 hammers 3 guys lol--watched different parts of game and he was centering 11 and 74. and thinking that is gervais? he must have known he was only making game 1 and 3 or something  ?? what was call on ice ? 5 for fighting and gm at least ? if he only has to sit the next one if it makes it to 3 games i can see him having plenty of room on ice lol |

it was 22--i only added gervais name as im assuming 74 is king and 11 campbell (i think king wore 74 with la ? and campbell wore 11 with watrous) and another poster said compliment to gervais king and campbell etc. 22 was centering 11 and 74 in other parts of game. so unless someone has a program the mystery continues lol

McKay instigator and fight in the last 10 so 2 games unfortunately.
Hegion was 3rd man in (plus last 10) so gets 3 games.
Both need to serve in provincials so can’t play on their league teams until suspensions are served.

Has to be more to it than that. From the live stream looked like 22 was the only one fighting, milestone guy turtles instantly. Shouldn’t have gotten any penalty. If that’s actually the case, how does hegion get a 3rd man in when there technically is no second man. From video it shows him trying to grab 22 off his teammate. I get if it’s a fight and he does that it’s third man in, but if it’s not an actual fight? If this is true, tough break for hegion.

The refs called it a 1 man fight, McKay got an instigator and fight, and because they called the fight they had to call Hegion for the 3rd man in even tho he was just a peacekeeper. Which is bullsh*t. There should be a different rule for guys trying to break it up and for guys that are jumping in to actually fight

im sure if they send a video to sha they may change the ruling ? according to sask west website #6 blackere had 2 games for his dirty hit in prov game --then the next day they must have whined and got sha to change it--as it showed only 1 game.....so they do have capacity to change but it so stupid for the guy who was acting as peacemaker and took a couple hits to face as he was doing it to have a longer suspension then the guy that instigated the first fight then punched out 2 other players ....i know the rule says peacemaker is 3 rd man in but they gotta use some common sense here.....
