Moosomin is now 12 and 0 in the Big Six Hockey League and has knocked off Redvers, Carlyle, and now Carnduff (last nite) in the past couple of weeks. They are the real deal and with newbies Brock Trotter, Jason Elmes and Ryker Cole, have two solid scoring lines, a better defence, and more than adequate goaltending. A weaker Carnduff team upset Balcarres two or three year ago and this year's Rangers are better. They would be more than happy with tight reffing in this series as their power play is unstoppable. Should be a dandy tilt.

Balcarres wins that series in 3 they r the better all around team without a doubt. They will shut down the Holloway and trotter line

There is so many underrated teams from the south. Who ever wins out of moosemin and Balcarres I can see winning. Lumsden also has a chance. Carlyle too

Everyone is saying Balcarres and yes,they have a good team. But no one has mentioned Moosomin's pickups? Three of the 4 have played some sort of JR A hockey and the 4th has put up 50 points in the Big Six twice. Hengen brothers on D is not going to hurt this team at all. Plus, the Holt brothers up front will add secondary scoring.

Plus, the Holt brothers up front will add secondary scoring. yeah it definitely helps, but the hengen brothers are not high end pieces. Balcarres’s D will have a hard time shutting down those 2 lines. They’re capable of it. And it all comes down to can moosemins D shut down the first and second line of Balcarres |

I think Carlyle cougars r the dark horse in the south they have a great line up lots of experience on that team. There only draw back could b the goal tending

I think that the Carlisle cougars are the dark horse in the south they have a very good roster with lots of experience there only weakness could be there goaltending
