Danny Rojas Xmas power rankings
1-Rocanville, undefeated, Taylor Thompson best player in the league and it’s not close.
2-Canora, couple gutsy wins on the road including a win over Theodore
3-Theodore, missing some guys to injury still near the top
4-Swan Valley, good team all around, fairly reliant on top line for offence.
5-Langenburg, could be lower in reality but 2 wins last 2 days move them up here. Feel like putting them at 10 when their fans were ranking them 1 at 1-4 but trying to not be biased
6-Cote, good top end, lack depth on the backend and in net.
7-Churchbridge, they get the edge over #8 due to higher end talent up front and in net, once they get used to playing with eachother could upset some middle teams.
8-Wapella, giving good teams close games, on their way.
9-Ituna, similar to last year having a tough time competing.
10-Preeceville, nice guys, try hard love the game. Finally broke the shutout streak which a couple weeks ago I could’ve been convinced would last into 2024.

The above is absolutely laughable. Langenburg went 2 and 0 over Xmas weekend and should easily be in top 3 of this league as there is really no competition when the mighty warriors bring their full line and a half roster (this is all they let touch the ice regardless of roster size). Wapella smokes the swan valley axemen who cleaned up last years league awards and had a decent enough game against the rocanville Tommy Toey’s, Wapella Waygons should sit 4th on this list. Cote selects should be last on this list, one more gross misconduct and the selects won’t see the ice again in any league. Rocanville easy #1 by far, the line of Tommy Toey & Landyn Cochrane plus literally anyone else in the world is absolutely unstoppable and should be considered for best line in the province.

This league has got to be the biggest joke in the province, what other league are u seeing blowouts like 20-0 or 17-0 it’s no wonder the leading scorers are averaging 5 points a game…if rocanville top line is so good throw them in the long lake league and see how well they do against actual hockey players!

It’s a joke to watch. Give me a league that has teams with some more local guys and 18 guys on both rosters each night any day of the week. |

Everyone loves a good rough and tough Sask senior hockey game. Big hits, scrums, few fights here and there. But what cote is bringing to the table isn't hockey. No one wants to go there on a Friday night and be worried about not making work on Monday cause of an injury. It's a joke really. If they keep it up they'll be out of the league.
And really it's too bad because they have a few fun players to watch. The rest are ruining it.
