Completely and unfair assessment of Taylor in his first two games in Wynyard. He gave that team every chance to win. And clearly. GoHawks guest doesn’t know what they are talking about. Apparently the stinky goalie as he said, was the goalie with the most games played the last two years, in the saskwest hockey league. With the most wins most shut outs and in 5 or more games played over the course of 2 years almost the best save percentage and goals against average. For some reason that isn’t tracked in this league but that’s how you know if a goalie is good, Take a look at the fact that the team that was in front of them didn’t score the most goals in the league either and took an awful lot of penalties. If Taylor is the best goalie in the league, and such an incredible pick up for Wynyard… why are they 0-2?!? Whose at fault then?

You do know that there is a team in front of him right and goalies almost never are out there scoring goals. There is not I in team, and I didn’t say he was the best goalie in this league, the league just started but he sure isn’t stinky as the gohawks guest stated. The stats prove that. And over 80 shots in 2 games and in the first was a 6 on 3 power play for foam lake. Have you been watching? And Hilts had 2 great defensive plays one in each game, on odd man rushes…it’s early in the season, just watch what Wynyard will bring. Keep in mind Hobbs wasn’t at the Watrous game, and they took them to overtime

Watrous hasn’t dressed Mychan yet either but no one has mentioned that yet……… |

Taylor is non elite import and seems to be doing ok. Watrous tied game in last 2 minutes then won in ot. Have to say it could have gone either way. I recall shields who often has to win games for pirates didn’t play great in the prov A final versus drake while the often criticized Bartel was very good in provincials last spring.
Toth and shields should be far better than any others in the llhl .

Hearing rumours that besides Wynyard having to drop an import spot guy, they also were “forced” by his buddies to “buy out” or pay him directly for the rest of the year in games he would have played!! We are talking in the tune of over $10,000… someone, can we confirm or deny this?! Wynyard seems to have gotten a bit more than they can chew from their U of S all stars! 🤣
