After scoring Meota’s 8th goal, followed by a huge fist pump followed by the open wingspan knee lift celebration, I had to check out who this superstar is. Turns out #2 is a former Whl draft pick, aaa Stars player and North Stars reject playing Senior “G” hockey with a bunch of glorified rec players as an 18 year old. ‘Oh boy I got a hat trick I better show them a big celebration’! That looks so stupid in a 8-2 game, but good for you champ! Hockey Guy, I’m not sure what was worse- your prediction of the game or this attempt to redeem yourself and be funny/cool on the internet. You would gain much more traction calling me a plug or irrelevant for not hitting the score sheet in a 9-2 game instead of trying to slander one of the nicest, most respectful kids you could meet! Not sure if you maybe spent a little too much time in the hot stove but your recollection is a little fuzzy. 1) Ryan didn’t even score the 8th goal. 2) he had two goals, not a hat trick. 3) his celebration was a half raised arm followed by a glove tap with his linemates, not even knowing he scored as it bounced off of multiple guys in front. Technology is a wonderful thing, let me know if you want me to post it from livebarn. Maybe someone is just a little jealous? I hope that’s the case because it would be pretty sad if you’re a grown man, anonymously trashing an 18 year old from behind a screen, who just wants to play hockey with his brother when he comes home from University on the weekends. |

Anyone know the tie breaker for Regular season standings and the playoff format this year? Tie breaker will go: Wins Head to head points Head to head goal differential GF-GA differential on season Then after that I think it's lower GA. Playoffs I was told will be best of 3-5-7 again. |

Playoffs I was told will be best of 3-5-7 again. 3-5-7 for playoffs was good for when there were only 3-4 good team cause each first round match up was a sweep. The league has gotten better with Meota, Neilburg, Turtleford, Radisson, Glaslyn, and battleford all being good. 5-5-7 would be a good idea for next year. Whats everyone’s weekend thoughts? |

Agreed. The league has too much parity now. Every team has shift workers too so it’s nice to stretch it out over a couple weeks to give guys a chance to make it. Could even be 5-5-5 like it used to be

Correct me if I’m wrong but nothing good has ever come out of the 1vs8 and 2vs7 series in this league.
