Big game tonight at the Battleford arena. Tigers are coming to town to take two points from the Blues. Lots of Tford fans on the way and it’s going to be loud. Don’t waste your hard earned money on the Combines unless you like crappy hockey. See you there

With most teams around half way through their schedules for the year, what are peoples thoughts on how the rest of the year is going to shake down.
Reg Season:
1) Meota - Has a fairly tough remaining schedule (Bford twice, Turtleford twice, Raddy once) but cant see them giving up the one seed. 2) Neilburg - Only lost twice so far, both to Meota, and looks like they had some big pick ups since losing those games. 3)Turtleford - Pretty much the same roster as every other year, but got a couple guys from St.Walburg. Got a tough schedule to end the year (Meota twice, Glaslyn Twice, Neilburg Bford and Raddy all once) 4)Battleford - Not looking as strong as they have in the past, kind of a down year for them. 5)Raddy - Slow start to the year, only playing 5 games so far. Losing to Redberry could end up costing them. 6) Glaslyn - Could be a threat come playoffs if everyone on their roster shows up. 7)Maidstone - Somehow gave Meota their closest game of the year. Could surprise a top team with a short bench in the playoffs. 8)Redberry / Perdue - Both have surprising wins early in the year, but both seem to be in a league of their own. Most likely their 2 games against each other at the end of January will determine who makes the final playoff spot. Id put my money on Redberry strictly due to goaltending.
Playoffs:
Round 1: Meota over Redberry in 2 - No comment Neilburg over Maidstone in 2 - Assuming Neilburg has the majority of their team at the games, shouldn't be much of a fight. Could get ugly. Turtleford over Glaslyn in 3 - Should be a good series between two rivals that could go either way if both teams have full benches. Battleford over Turtleford in 3 - Couple controversial games this year already. Should be a good even series. Could see it go either way and a couple OT games.
Round 2: Meota over Battleford in 3- Meota shouldn't have an issue with the Bford. Neilburg over Turtleford in 5 - Neilburg ends the Meota vs Turtleford finals trilogy.
Finals: Meota over Neilburg in 7 - Home ice plays a big role in the finals as the home team wins every game.
League Awards MVF - Austin Mcdonald MVD - Zane Florence MVG - Bella Mckee Most Sportsmanlike - Jayden Nachtegaele Top Scorer - Austin Mcdonald PLayoff MVP - Jake McMillan

Can’t wait for the Blues to bash 2 points out of the Mediocre Combines tonight. Who will be suffering from the “Blue Flu” tonight??

Glaslyn is just not them. Team stinks this year and that's putting it lightly.
