6-2 Carlyle over Oxbow 6-3 Redvers over Carnduff 4-2 Bienfait over Wawota 7-6 YG over Midale. Looks like Redvers hasn’t missed a beat after losing the Millers. Some high end talent throughout the league, shaping up to be a good year for the Big 6. Parody is everything. Nice to see close games every weekend

It gets quiet in here when the teams with the big payrolls arent doing so well. Meanwhile Yellow Grass with no payroll is 4-0....

It gets quiet in here when the teams with the big payrolls arent doing so well. Meanwhile Yellow Grass with no payroll is 4-0.... You mean the Weyburn Wheatkings playing out of yellowgrass? The team that has stretched the rules since being welcomed back into the league? How are two guys considered exempt when they weren’t even on the roster last year. Here is the rule out of the constitution: 8.4 FOR THE 2019-20 SEASON ONLY - Teams can select three (3) elite players from last years' roster to be exempt for the next three seasons, providing they remain with the same franchise for three consecutive years. Remaining with the franchise for Three consecutive seasons is the key to take out of that rule. So Mellon and neuberger play in 18-19, are considered exempt for 19-20, aren’t rostered in 20-21 and somehow are exempt again in 21-22? If I was yellowgrass I wouldn’t go boasting about their record when rules are being stretched and broken. The more yellowgrass boasts about their weyburn roster the more likely someone takes up issue to the league. Just a thought to consider before boasting anymore about three shootout wins lol.

Everyone ****es about Yellow Grass the last few years when really all they've iced are competitive teams, not teams that dominate by any means. Even the year they won, they didn't breeze to the championship. No one minded when Midale and Bienfait we're running away with the league. They're good for the league, would you rather go watch them play carnduff and have a game like they had Friday or go watch Carlyle beat Midale 18-3?
The import rules make it tough on the smaller populated towns to be competitive. And as far as those guys not playing last year i would say last year was a write off, no one got more then what 5 games in? I believe Neuberger was going to play after xmas and Mellon was hurt.
Also what does it matter if they charter a bus to away games? So they don't pay guys 10 k a year to come play, instead they make sure guys can have beers together on the way home without having to worry about a DUI.

Speaking of stretching rules how about the junior c team yellowgrass came up with a few years ago in order to AP 18-20 year old players that played junior a. Was a way for them getting around not having to drop guys off their regular roster. Basically we’re able to carry 27-28 players over 18 years old and made it look like they were just APs LOL. Cole Rooney for example was one player that comes to mind. Don’t know how YG can even be proud of their team when they have a huge population of players to draw from. Same can be said for bienfait drawing players from Estevan. It’s actually embarrassing these two teams aren’t in the finals every year. It’s the carnduffs and redvers of the league that are way more impressive. Home grown talent from both these small centres which have met in the finals 2 of the past 3 seasons while also carrying out impressive provincial runs.

Yeah Carnduff paying a guy from Weyburn $450/game and a $2500 signing bonus is super impressive lol. $100K budget for this season to be .500

Carnduff Yellow grass Bienfait Moosomin Oxbow Carlyle Redvers Midale Wawota This prediction hasn’t aged well. Rockets are nasty. That d core is wild. can’t generate anything on them.. possibly one of the deepest d cores in the entire province? Imagine if they could add the millers to that roster right now, no one would even come close to touching them.
