Nope wasn’t there. And last night may have been the exception, couldn’t tell you. But I’ve seen dozens of Elk games over the years no know exactly how Kyle behaves. It’s embarrassing actually. Now you know what you guys look like most games.

Refs sure tried to blow that one for the mighty elks. Kenaston complaining to the refs at every whistle sure gets old. But when your a bunch of has beens you gotta do something I guess. Kyle should have won by more. Kenaston is overrated and hates being hit I dont even hate the elks... but please..... spare me. This is the pot calling the kettle black. I have been told first hand by officials that they will not go to Kyle any more because of the constant yelling and complaining at refs... Its brutal. And everyone knows it. so please, if you're from kyle, do not call out other teams for abuse of officials. look in the mirror |

Lots of Kyle and Kenaston players is my guess. Why does every team that wins by 3 or 4 think they Dominated. Its pretty easy to look dominant based off shots when you get a pile of PP'S. Or a few add on goals from empty netters. Or even run into a hot Goalie. I have been to a fair amount of games in Central and Northern Sask provincials this year. And I've seen a lot of close games that could have gone either way with a bounce or 2, but somehow the winners always claim to have dominated. These are the real idiots.

I’ve said not before and some disagreed, but I don’t think many players comment on these boards. Especially from elite teams like these. I’m sure they’re aware of it. But most 20 somethings don’t go on message boards. I don’t think these are Kyle or Kenaston players. Those teams do their talking on the ice. Mostly has bins or never was type guys. I include myself in this group.

does anyone have an unbiased opinion of game 1? I figured Kenaston would win easily, did Kyle outplay them, Palmer steal the game? Was it a physical game?

I have watched or played against kyle for many years. And they are one of the worst teams for complaining and whining. This year they were beating lucky lake 17 to 1 and they were ****ing when they got penalties. It always floors me that the really good teams kyle , kenaston and years ago rosetown are usually the worst for it.

does anyone have an unbiased opinion of game 1? I figured Kenaston would win easily, did Kyle outplay them, Palmer steal the game? Was it a physical game? 1st period was physical, slowed down after Kyle got a couple quick ones. 1st period all Kyle. 2nd period not near as physical, Kyle controlling most of the play but kenaston starting to get some decent chances. I think kenaston had 5-6 PP’s they couldn’t capitalize on. 3rd period the physicality came back penalty filled both ways, Kyle got a couple and then Kenaston started clawing their way back. Doerkson with one of the hardest cleanest hits I’ve seen on Mcveigh. Kyle worked hard and deserved the win. Although they would have been hard pressed to win had they not had Palmer in net. Lewchuck probably wants at least 3 of the 6 he let in back. Both teams only playing 2 lines. I think kenaston had a 3rd line out twice and maybe got scored on both times. Might have made that up though. |
