What’s with weekday games in this league? Seems kinda bizzare for senior This league has always played weekday games. Most guys come out of Saskatoon so basically every game is only a hour drive, with the exception of Wynyard and Foam Lake who don’t play any weekday home games. Plus if you live in Wynyard or Foam Lake most games are only a hour drive for those guys as well with exception of Davidson. Playing weekday game gives the guys some weekends off so not every weekend for 4 months is tied up playing hockey. |

Weekday games are dumb. Skippy boy has Monday and Thursday night football to watch, sprinkle in Wednesday night hockey and The Bachelor on Tuesdays there just isn't enough time to watch senior hockey. Working mans league my ass!

To be fair some guys are gonna make as much money playing hockey tonight as they would in a 40 hour work week. So it’s a working mans league in the sense it’s some people part time jobs lol

So it’s a working mans league in the sense it’s some people part time jobs lol i don’t think you math works. Even a $20 per hour job would pay $800. I doubt too many guys are making $800 per game. And if they are they probably are smart enough to have a job that pays better than $20, haha. |

I have a sneaky suspicion that the pay/game doesn’t find its way onto any tax return. And in a two game weekend or week, $800 is what more than just a few guys are getting, maybe a few per team |
