The series was close. 2-1, 4-3 ( ot win) 2-0 ( EN)
Wadena was pretty banged up and both goalies played a great game last night. 37-30 shots.
First year in LLHL, I’d say the Cats did alright.

Can confirm -> saw the visual with my own two eyes from across the rink. Both the altercation and the ref grabbing a stick to leave the ice. Stay classy Wadena, this isn't the Wheatland boys

Congrats to Davidson Congratulations to Davidson, it was a hard fought battle between 2 good teams and unfortunately 1 team has to lose. On another note...Wadena got called out last year and rose to the occasion by entering the LLHL and had a great year, although I think the Wheatland League was pretty ok last year as well. At the end of the day, Wadena can take pride in hanging a Provincial "B" banner and making the league final in my opinion. |

Congrats to Davidson Wadena was a perfect add for the LLHL, competitive strong team that fits the league well. Would be nice if they were a little closer to Saskatoon but thats pretty minor. Kenaston would be another great add as well. |
