Heard that the hearing before the Saturday game had the ref state that what the Kyle player said did not warrant even a penalty. Apparently McClintock agreed and said no suspension, just the one from the Friday game due to the spear with the other Macklin player who was also suspended. Macklin then went to Hockey Canada which overruled SHAs decision and gave him 6 games. Pretty sure this would be appealed by Kyle as I don’t see how you get told it’s not discrimination but still get 6 games.

That little weasel has had it coming though, don't think anybody outside of Kyle feels bad for him and his big ass mouth. He's lucky he plays with some extremely tough boys past and present in Kyle and doesn't have to answer the bell for anything he does out there. |

Quite the reach...I am just commenting on what was posted, if telling someone they're going to knock off his durag as its been commented is racist then we've gone beyond the pale. If the person said something prior to that was discriminatory then being suspended is appropriate. I also am questioning SHA found nothing wrong but Hockey Canada did...if that is indeed true. Just not a fan of people falsely accused of uttering a racist slur, just as I am not a fan of someone who would utter a racist slur. Get over yourself already! |
