Dalmeny willow Cree was the true final west division was way better then the east side this season Idk about that, thought both sides had 4 solid teams. Seem’d like every night was a new night and either team coulda won on both sides of the playoff bracket The west was definitely better, not meant as a shot at the East teams but facts are facts. The first round of the playoffs was essentially in the west 1v6 2v3 in the league and east was 4vs8 5vs7. All the credit goes to Dalmeny having to go through the 3 toughest teams in playoffs to win the league. The league definitely does have a lot more parity though this year which was great to see. Like you said any Friday or Saturday night towns were in for a good hockey game and not the 18-0 games of past when Vonda/Aberdeen we’re in the league.

Yeah I would say that Dalmeny Rosthern and willow Cree were all quite a bit better teams then birch hills and kinistino

The West was much stronger than the East this year, no comparison. Waldheim might’ve even snuck into the finals had they been in the East. Willow, Dalmeny or Rosthern would’ve easily rolled through the East. That said, pretty good parity throughout the league this year.

Heck...Hague and Shellbrook could've snuck into the finals had they been in the East.

Dalmeny had the hardest route and still won so hats off to them, but to claim the east was so much weaker is a hot take. Birch hills played 90% of the season and all playoffs with 2 imports, and most of the time only one of the two was there. Kinistino was in the same boat, top D man out and not 100% commitment from the top guys, It makes a big difference in this league. Take away Adrian for half the regular season and 3-5 games in playoffs and I don’t think they are winning

Birch hills should do more recruiting to fill it out and Kinistino has work to do from the inside then if they have commitment issues but that was their team this year, committed or not. Remember the time Rosthern made all local news outlets beating Kinistino with 8 skaters and no imports when Kinistino was fighting for 1st in the East?

And then he really only played power play and a few odd shifts in the final against Birch Hills.
