U gotta feel for Watrous looked like they improved at the start but with everyone picking up steam now there getting left behind. with Sam klassen going to Davidson that’s gotta be a kick in in the pants for them.

it looks like Covid shortened season pushed some guys into early retirement.. there are at least 4 local guys from watrous that should still be playing that would help out... also Sam Klassen getting that job at Briercrest really hurt to... losing a local guy that was the best dman in the league pretty tough to recover from.

hit the nail right on the head zamboni driver--back when Sam a regular he was best dman in league for sure(but other teams can never vote a watrous player to win anything) and i would go far as even say he was best dman in sask at the time

As for province I can’t remember everyone else lol |

wow kristoof- intellegent post from someone from lanigan--just stated the obvious--not being bitter--watrous never votes for a lanigan for mvp and the rest of league doesnt vote for watrous ---that the way its been since like 1960 something--ust the politics of the competition--far from bitter

Harmsworth only won last year cause no one wanted to vote for a drake guy. I personally don’t see why people think he’s a top Dman. There’s lots of guys that make more of an impact than him.

Haha go watch a game and put your phone down. This weekend was a prime example. The guy played over 45 minutes a night, chipped in a few points and they won both games! He's playing against everyone's top line, with a d partner who just started playing d last yr or an 18 yrnold kid straight from midget hockey. He kills all the penalties, blocks shots, hits. He is top 3 in the league no question. Doesn't put up the points some of the other guys have, but doesn't have the supporting cast the other guys do. |

I’ve watched him multiple times this year and last year. Maybe you Lanigan guys see it cause you watch him every game, but Id take Leach, Forsberg, Stumberg, Roy, Rygus,or Klassen now over Harmsworth anyday. |
