Heard a rumour Jansen is taking a year off Well that’s interesting. Wheatland schedule is already out with Jansen included.

Jansen Jets officially taking the year off That's unfortunate. Hope to see them back next season. Tough year for everyone. I don’t particularly agree that it’s a tough year for everyone. The only difference is the mandatory vax. Which seems pretty ing simple to do given that you get to be a part of Saskatchewan’s legendary senior hockey tradition. Not to mention you need it to buy weed and beer conveniently.

Which seems pretty ing simple to do given that you get to be a part of Saskatchewan’s legendary senior hockey tradition. Not to mention you need it to buy weed and beer conveniently. I don't know if that is necessarily the case, while some are ineligible because of vax status, everyone got a year away from hockey. For some that meant they realized they enjoyed spending that that time to be with family or focus on other interests, while others missed it. I was surprised some posters were confused at teams folding/trouble finding players and not tripping over themselves for the opportunity to play Senior hockey again but I am on an internet forum where we all have nothing better to do than focus on Senior hockey so I shouldn't have been.

Family comes first obviously. Lots of these places have nothing else to do with the family on weekends during winter. For those towns that will be suiting up a team, enjoy it. Seems like everyone takes it for granted until its not there anymore. For the players, go the extra mile for the fans, it is a give and take, need more extra miles out of every team for their town. People will show up when you do that, for many of our kids these senior games are the "NHL". Love seeing good role models at the rinks.
