Wadena is up big in Watrous.
It’s is still verrry early but it appears that Wadena may be shedding some people’s opinions that they are pretenders, as most had them pegged as a mid pack team. It’s been an interesting start to the season. As of this minute the power rankings are likely:
Wadena
Wynyard
Foam Lake
Davidson
Drake
Leroy
Watrous
Lanigan
But I think arguments can be made 3-6 can be moved up or down.
And Watrous beat Lanigan but Lanigan is playing some teams very tight. Makes for a good league when the lower teams are still playing close games.

Wadena wins 12-2 in Watrous For some reason Watrous didn’t have dymterko in net tonight, Hicks and a midget kid split time. Smith looks like a nice pick up but if they don’t improve their defence it won’t matter. Never seen Leach play before, nice player! Hobbins and Dyck had a lot of points. |

Pirates finally get in the win column, was a good game for the most part. Drake was missing some players. Hopefully the can string together a couple for Ws. Shields make a few big saves. Drake is in trouble if that’s that’s the goalie they’re going to roll with.

Rumour going around is the Wadena danger cats were trying to be a little too loose goosey with their roster. Putting players under their cabin addresses so they wouldn't be imports. I say it's time for a full audit of these rapscallions
