It is confirmed that Toth has signed with ASC Corona Brasov. Maybe Wadena wishes they still had Reekie? Looking at their roster the other goalie was with them all last year so he should be serviceable. Not serviceable in LLHL. Did ok in the WHL last yr but the quality of shooter is much higher now. Ditching your friend for a 2 game warm up for Toth in hindsight probably wasn't the smartest thing. |

No one is arguing that the LLHL isn’t the best league in SK, however Wadena and Craik proved that the Wheatland had some talent. Everyone wants a former pro goalie but they aren’t that easy to get. Foam Lake won the league with a “gasp” Jr B goalie! I’ve never seen the Wadena goalie play but credentials aren’t everything. |

Their "local goalie" is a diamond in the rough! The local that got the 5th goal has been there since day one! These locals are the heart of this team and other teams in the league! The best teams at the end of the year have the best local talent. Zach Z, Cam Blair, Reich’s, Leach, half of Kenaston and Wilkie. |

Goaltending was their weak spot last year that kept games close for the other teams. |

Goaltending was their weak spot last year that kept games close for the other teams. There is no doubt that the defence played a huge role but the guy let in 16 goals all of last year and had a 2.13gaa? Are you saying he let in 5 against Kinstino and Craik but none against Hanley or Naicam? |

I checked for myself. The most he let in during the year (including playoffs) was 3. If the games were close it doesn’t seem to be his fault? I’d take 3 and under every night and take my chances if I was Wadena, but the Wheatland isn’t the Long Lake. But he did only let in 3 vs Wynyard. Maybe he throws up the wall at 3, haha.
