And they are 2 wins out of 3rd. The standings couldn’t matter less. My year end prediction would be: 1. Grenfell 2. Lumsden 3. Balcarres 4. Odessa 5. Southey 6. Milestone 7. Bethune Stroh leading scorer, Kilgore best goalie numbers Dont think any teams in the Q care about standings right now. I could realistically see any one of 5 teams standing at the end. Top 3 would be Grenfell, lumsden, balcarras still. O/V will make a push. Milestone still a solid team and Southey and bethune aren’t pushovers. Exciting 2nd half of the season upcoming. 1st half all stars Stroh Harbor Dufour Isaac King Kilgore Prediciton Grenfell v Lumsden in the final. |

Bethune is a much improved team from past couple of years.They played a full 60 minutes today and never took a shift off, it was a total team effort.They took 5 minors to bronc none so Bethune P/K was also tested.A fun game to watch , both good respectful teams.

The Broncs are built to win everything this year! Nobody in the Q should be able to skate with the Broncs, especially Bernhardt! What a shocker!

Bernhardt is no longer far and away the top player in the league. 3-4 years ago he was and it wasnt even close. Stroh, Foster, Miller can all hang with Berny now as far as i am concerned. Balcarras depth of talent is actually quite underwhelming. |
