I know it’s early but reading through the forum sounds like there’s a chance of 12-14 teams in the league next year barring any town folding which I don’t think anyone has an issue other than warman getting ice and if the league will let them play in beardys. Kinistino and Hanley in next year and I heard a rumour that Blaine lake and Bruno are trying to join in too? Would that lead to a old wheatland style have 2 divisions? Big IF but if it does happen I think 26 games is too much for senior hockey in a season.

Not sure about Blaine Lake but it sounds like a 12 team league in the TRHL.

Too many teams getting too spread out, gonna end up like the wheatland in a few years, I also thought this league had a 180k drivable distance rule???

Blaine lake to the sask prairie. Only 2 new teams, kinistino and Hanley, 18 games with 2 divs, inner div plays each other twice and then scramble for other games to make 18.

North Birch hills Shellbrook Kinistino Cudworth Rosthern Waldheim
South Allan Hanley Clavet Warman Dalmeny Hague ? North/south seems the simplest way to do it but looking at the teams The north would be stacked and cudworth would have a rough go given their teams from years past. But about the 180km rule Hanley and Kinistino themselves are 225km apart.. maybe as the crow flies it’s closer but to make up the 45km?

I’ve hear lots of rumours Warman is switching to beardys, If that the case I would think beardys would be in the north and cudworth in south, would also make it a little more even divisions

It’s official, Hanley and Kinistino have joined from the Wheatland League, and Warman is officially moving to Beardy’s under a new team name

I’d imagine the same as I said above with beardys going to the north and.. Waldheim? Maybe Rosthern? Switching to the south?

Hearing that Warman has lost a handful of players now the team is moving to Beardys. Any truth to this?

Hearing that Warman has lost a handful of players now the team is moving to Beardys. Any truth to this? Lol no, the team has lost the community support or what little they had... hence why they finished last season in Beardys, so why not move the team out there for success.
