If he is done they can pick up any other goalie from the eliminated teams from C and D. Just like Foam Lake did.. Central Butte has a good tender.. No.. doesn't work Like that exactly... SHA let’s you pick up a goalie from the eliminated teams in your division or lower. Provided the goalie wants to play they can pick them up. So what am I missing?

If the goalie is import or elite you can replace that, if he is local or population based you have to pick from that

There is nothing in the handbook that stipulates a difference between an elite or import goalie and a local. But they do need to follow the guidelines: 1) an affiliate goaltender 2) A goalie from a lower division or category within the centre or non-centre that form the team (sponsoring centre first). Permission must be granted. 3) Same or lower division (C or D) 4.03.02 Hockey Sask Handbook
Side note, is this fair? If you have a midget team in your centre, you must go there first, but if you do not you can go after any senior goalie in your category or lower. Just a question, I don't have the answer.

That affiliate rule is for league. And yes they can add any import goalie if he is hurt and not “drop” anyone.

This is all that applies:
iv) a goaltender from a team of the same or lower category providing permission has been granted in writing by team management.
v) Senior D category may come from either the Senior C or D category.
b) Permission for the replacement by the General Manager or his/her designate shall be in writing and must be attached to the appropriate registration material for inspection. Where time does not permit, Hockey Saskatchewan shall inform the opposing team by phone before the next scheduled game. The player must join the team within ten (10) days of the date of the last game in which the injured or ill goaltender played or prior to the next scheduled game of the team. If the team is not scheduled to play within the ten (10) day period indicated above, the replacement goaltender cannot be replaced by another replacement goaltender unless he/she is injured or medically unfit.

Davidson is just fine. Their backup has 7 provincial titles (3 in minor and 4 in senior). Play the game!!

We’ll see if Carnduff has what it takes to get past Davidson. They had 3 lucky goals in the first 10 minutes and then had zero gas left in the tank for the remainder of the game. If Carnduff had a defence group like Redvers it would be a different game.

Davidson missing there top goalie and captain tonight and still pull out a 7-4 win !!! Think carnduff was a little over rated !! Redvers was twice the team !
