Moosomin sweeps Carlyle and redvers both in the playoffs last year, pumps every team this year besides redvers who they still beat last night, yet everyone on here saying that they suck and Redvers is better. I don’t get it haha. What else does Moosomin need to do

What did the complete loser Jonas Thompson do now. Guys an embarrassment. Big talker and ‘leader’ to youth. Hahahahaha. supposedly someone called him a pussy in the first he returned the favour by calling him a fag. They come out to start the second and refs are booting him for it cause a Carlyle player complained about it in the second. |

Exciting finish in Redvers last nite as Bud Holloway scored seconds into overtime to defeat the hometown Rockets 5-4. Period scores 0-0 and 1-1. Lots of back and forth scoring in the third with no one getting a coveted two goal lead. Redvers missing Gaudet, Smallchild, and newcomer Josh Martin. Moosomin missing Morrisseau and newcomer Taylor Sanheim. Kenton Miller tied it up at 4 with 34 seconds left and their goalie pulled. The Miller line was the best one on the ice. Rocket Oliver Poirier scored a beauty midway through the third avoiding a Kyler Beckett poke check. Beckett made some good saves in the first but was also aided by two crossbars and a post in the period. He did out goaltend Thomas Bauche however, who seemed to be lacking confidence on this night. He let in a couple of weak wristers in the third. To me, Redvers has a stronger squad and a better team. Don't count them out. The Rangers were missing Morriseau and Sanheim, but they would be hard pressed to replace the talents of Trotter and big Josh Elms from 23/24. Good crowd, good game, and nary a snowflake in Redvers tonight. If we're being completely realistic, Redvers has been putting off what everyone from the outside can see. They need better goaltending. It was a large part of the difference the final last season, and it showed itself tonight. Why they wouldn't burn an import on an ex-WHL/Jr.A goalie out of Brandon is beyond me. They have buckets of front 5 talent. They're a goalie away from being a complete team. |

As far Redvers vs Moosomin. Period 1 total disaster by Rangers and lucky is was not blow out after 20 min. Beckett did his job in the first period or game would have been over.
I see the Rangers were off ice and entire 2 weeks and it showed with poor scheduling or whatever was planned. Be long time until team gets in shape. Passing was very weak for Rangers and at high level for Rockets.
Not sure shots on net but Redvers dominated!
Rockets Missing:
Gaudet
Small Child
Martin
Ranger Missing:
Schweans
Sanheim
Morrisea
Overall decent game half way through second but lopsided first half.
As far as chemistry and lines working well poor puck management for Moosomin F grade and Redvers A grade looked pretty goods as moved puck well and showcase skill.
I see both teams improving as the season moves along.
Arguably switch goalies and Rockets and Rangers….. Rockets win 10-2.
Redvers fans dynamite and great crowd that travelled to watch Rangers pull off another win. Game went into OT.
Not sure why Moosomin’s top defender was sitting on bench with 37 seconds left in 3rd when Redvers squared off game to push into OT.
Not sure why Redvers did not change goaltenders?
Overall both teams are not as good as last year
teams yet from what I seen last season but could be a little early or maybe the game conditioning and key players missing.
About time Redvers gets new sound system as announcing brutal.

Fight of night Hiebert KO Dumaine and leaking hard. I’m sure the Tyson round 2 next game but what a tilt and hope both players ok. Better than Tyson fight and Live streamed without a glitch.
