Birch hills beats willow 5-3 and of course, another classy night by willow. Guy gets hit from behind into the dasher and lost teeth, teammates are looking for his teeth and #16 comes in with his stick and sweeps the ice so the can’t find them and the crowd loved it. What beardys pulled tonight in hague was absolutely disgraceful. Down 4-2 with 10 mins left so they pull out the cheap stuff. Cross check to the face, multiple hits from behind, and the biggest guy on beardys fighting the smallest guy on hague (and still losing). Team should be kicked out of the league without a second thought |

This is all starting to get way out of hand. Being a fan of senior hockey all I want is to go to my local rink and enjoy a hard fought battle of clean hockey. Don't get me wrong i understand this is hockey and there is going to be scrums and fights and that is all in good fun. Although, hitting from behind, cross checks to the face, and blatantly running guys from across the ice is not in good fun. There is no room in the game for that kind of behavior. Not trying to point at Willow cause they are not the only team doing so. Hockey should be played hard and on the ice. All the comments on this thread only make things worse. Let's get back to fun hockey!

Hague and Bruno are definitely not the same teams as last year, Bruno clearly stronger but hague is no longer that same easy team to run over, 5-4 OT loss to willow cree after leading 4-2 in the third, 4-2 loss and a good game against dalmeny they are going to be a team to watch this season, Bruno should have a very nice run in the playoffs if they keep their momentum, overall nice to see weaker teams improve and have different contenders come out the woodworks.

I watch sr hockey in a number of leagues. This is one of the softest leagues in sask. That's why when 1 hard hit is thrown everyone's reckless go up. Just a competitive rec league really.
