6.12 Teams may consist of 4 Elite Imports (Jr A or Higher); 4 Non Elite Imports (Jr B ) and 3 Free Be’s (That have played under the same status for three consecutive years (Either Elite Import, Non Elite Import) 6.08 Use of semi-professionals or professionals while under contract or on strike is not permitted. “Under contract” hypothetically if Dufour wanted to come back, how would that “semi-pro” contract be situated. Would it be terminated? Or would the contract stay? If that’s the case he cannot play.

It used to be if a team folded and another team picked up one of the free be players from that team, they could card them as a feee be player. They would have to have room for them obviously.

As a bal guy, kinda messed up Raymore lost a game cuz they thought Cruze was a freebie. Same logic you would think applies.

The said Cruze lived in Grand Coulee and we’re taking that population. They knew what they were doing. This year, they are trying to say Dylan McCabe lives at Echo Lake. LOL. Also, if Dufour is let go by his team in Quebec, he can return to Lumsden. As long as the drop and then add process is followed through Hockey Sask, there won’t be issues.

Lumsden is the “beach boys” for a reason. Guys have picked up and moved there bags to properties to play for a good senior team not far from town. That is fair? But When another guy does it to play on a different team it’s cheating? Get your head out of ur crapper. I can name 6 guys on Lumsden that don’t live where they are “listed”. Think before u speak you nimrod.

I have no idea who this cruze kid is or any bout Grand Colouee. I do no bout Dylan and he has been in our community out here for a long long time from the parade to the bsay games a good role model for young kids that look like him to be able to play at a high level. To “LOL” at him doing extra for others is the only funny thing. I have seen that young man twice this summer from a far at echo ridge and coop in town. It’s a shame what u r doin. The same reason he plays in all the native tournies is same reason he came back to bsa

This wording leaves it open to interpretation and argument. It should be, that if a player is registered on any other team at any point in time he breaks his ties and the 3 years resets. The purpose of the rule is to reward teams for having imports for a long period, rewarding loyalty and allowing you to build stronger teams through loyalty. If dufor is allowed back as a freebee just because of an interpretation it’s a joke. He left the team for another, he should be an import. IMO it’s the spirit of the rule that matters, not the wording. Is my interpretation wrong?
