Right now Carlyle has biggest payroll along with Redvers.
Soon teams will be ice with performance bonuses.
Not sure what Carlyle paid for Prov A run but Round Lake Bears were near top at 20K a night.
Carlyle unreal crowds and lot of gold off charts.
I would like to see White Bear Casino put alllstar team together and play out of WhiteBear. Free blackjack following games!
k am working on my fantasy team from White Bear with potential to get to final! Players can be recruited from all local leagues. A hockey and Sk best. It will come down to cash to operate this squad!

Redvers not even close to biggest payroll, between moosomin and carlyle. Difference is moosomin is going to thump carlyle. The cougars have spent so much money in the last couple years and have accomplished so little. It's laughable.

That moosomin team is overrated just like there prov. Team from last yr was a joke. To many big egos and no chemistry this year not going to work just when you need Colby he will take off and play with some native team in a tournament He has no loyalty

I agree moosomin will not be as strong as they think they are for one thing they do not have the goaltending it takes to beat these good teams and those Manitoba players are used to playing all the time they’re not gonna like not having lots of Ice time It’s going to cause problems

All teams in the big 6 pay players. Anyone that says they don’t are liars. Some teams just pay more than others.

Old man Holloway is not going to be potting all those easy goals this year like he did last year there’s more competitive teams he’s not gonna be able to keep up To some of these young fast players And I also agree moosomin is not going to be as dominant as everybody thinks Those manitoba players want to b on the ice all the time like they did last yr. Moosomin is the highest played team in the big six without a doubt.

I think Carlyle will have the edge on goal tending this season in the big six as far as offence all 3 teams at the top will b fairly close each nite will depend on commitment from there imports imo defence not sure who has the edge there There’s going to be some good games between Redvers Carlyle and Moosomin for sure The weather can have a big part in league play also with imports driving along ways and who is going to be there for every game will determine who ends up
In first place at end of the yr.

I don’t even think the guys Moosomin got were the top line players. Looking at the Tiger Hills website the Bowles were the top guys. So i doubt these guys expect more ice time than they were used to last year behind the Bowles. |

Does the Rockets coaching transition change or help the club
They are the deepest team by far in league with most experience.
However in senior hockey rosters change weekly so until January deadline the proof in the playoffs as standing mean little.
The amount of $ being paid in senior hockey- players could be fired and rehired by other teams with performance and commitment as with PROV A rolling recruitment has begun already. Not sure any allstar team could beat Kenaston as they pounded Lumsden.
Area teams folded and a new crop of talent in market.

Not sure on reasons teams dropping but see it in Minor Hockey
and likely time for area to combine and retool association's.
I would like to see the league start senior league in September like NHL and wrap up at Christmas then best of 7 series!

Redvers lost both league and prov. Last yr there run is over they will b a 3 rd place team this yr in the big six and They will try to go in the least competitive prov bracket again this yr cuz they r not good enough to play with the big boys and compete in A division.

The difference is Redvers is all local and can go in any division they choose. Moosomin and Carlyle aren’t local enough to go in any division other than A.
