I don’t know man, they have some young forwards that aren’t too bad, and I don’t think the forwards were the issue as much as defence and goaltending. Have you heard of any d-men coming in? Because they dis probably lose their best one in Josh bear who isn’t anything special to begin with. If they have those two and a solid defence men, and probably a solid goalie to go along with that. Than I’ll give them some credit and say they could be more competitive. Bringing in 2,3,4 forwards and having no way of keeping the puck out of the net is bad news in any league but especially this one I have not heard of any d man and I realize that they are weak back there. I do wonder if other teams will take them more seriously if they are stronger which may result in a limited amount of additional success even if their team is stronger. The last couple years it seemed like some of their games were somewhat close as teams would bring 10 skaters to Kipling and float all game and win 6-3. Fair enough. That is a 7th, maybe 6th place team though. I just can’t get past the fact that they have no defence men. Everyone knows you build from the backend up

They’ll put some pucks in the net but will give up far more. Might be one of those teams that squeaks out a few wins here and there which could maybe get them more than their usual 43 fans in that barn. Better than wawota but hardly a serious hockey team.

Where does Ty brown live or come from if he’s an import He is from wet burn but moved out to Lumsden last year on September 15th. So a bit of a drive to Carlyle. Surprised he’s not playing for his hometown though, Lumsden is pretty good.

So many morons on this forum it’s nuts. Both Gabrielle and Decl are done senior hockey for now (deck probably retired for good) Gabrielle is in BC working like a grown adult, you know making a living? There is more to life than ing around playing senior hockey. Maybe teaching the youth and giving back to the game instead of running around and playing literal useless games.
At the end of the day senior hockey means absolutely nothing and bringing the next generation up and teaching them the ropes so they can be successful in their hockey journey is what it is about. And both of them are trying to do that. Like give your head a ing shake. It’s insane how intensely people feel about senior hockey.
Join the SJ forum instead, no one needs to chat this hard about nobody’s playing hockey.
