Wawota would actually be pretty decent if their locals like Struble, Riddell, Lamontagne, Niven, and a few others came back and played. I don't see it happening so basement dwellers again.

Carlyle is going to be a lot better than people expect with a lot of additions to replace subtractions and a good goalie coming. Moosomin Redvers Carnduff Wawota and oxbow all with some nice additions this year apparently. League will be tight Who are the additions that you’ve heard of for these teams?! Just curious because I haven’t heard much of anything for those teams other than Moosomin |

I can't believe nobody has picked up C-Hawks tender Cory Gardham. 6 NCHL titles. 2 THHL championships. 2 Manitoba Senior 'A' Provincial championships. The guy just wins. Any team would be lucky to have him join the squad. His puck skills alone garner a few starts for sure. Midale. Carlyle. Wawota. Pick up the phone ASAP.

Like good lord haha there is barely any talent on this team. Haha this is so true. They are constantly trying to poach goalies from teams within their own league. Heard they have been trying to dish out some big goalie money year to year and have had no luck picking anyone up. It’s too bad they are such a joke now considering it wasn’t all that long ago they were very good. They need to get some studs somehow just not sure how they will do it. |

Rumour out in redvers is they have added 3 good local forwards and the rest are coming back from last year. Have heard names such as Cory millette and naton miller being tossed around. I heard riley Niven isn’t playing for his hometown of Wawota but is instead chasing money in Carlyle?

Can’t blame Niven really, not fun playing competitive hockey for years and then having to go play that garbage in Wawota. Would say that might be more about the calibre of hockey and less about the money than you think. |
