I don’t want to spoil sources and start rumours but I think the league is going to be even better this year. Lumsden will be the cream of the crop and there provincial team will be pretty much their squad. Balcarres is getting younger and healthier. Grenfell is getting their most skilled player back and I heard he may bring some cats with him , from places he’s played before or farmers in the area coming back from jr Raymore has got Eberle and the Almighty Wapple. Bethune added a bunch of depth. Southey has a lot of locals that are eligible and lot of sticks / gas to hand out , so let’s see there. Milestone screwed themselves by leaving and coming back, I have no idea what will happen there. Balgonie is sneakily putting together an off-season. Found an old gem to replace Holtby and got some big elite additions. It’s gonna be a great year to be a fan, wish I could still lace them up. Didn’t they lose in the first round of both league playoffs and provincials? It’s a long way from that to hanging a banner (or two). |
