I've talked to some people and have heard a few teams are losing key players to other leagues. Top league scorers going to either the LLHL or SVHL. Teams will look very different this season.

Tried confirming the Rosthern rumour, but was unsuccessful. Was talking to a buddy over the weekend and he heard that Hanley is losing a lot of players from last year. Be interesting to hear how that roster shakes out for this year. Pretty quiet around the league right now.

90% sure aberdeen and st louis are not in the league and hanley + rosthern still are. I think people like to bs on here alot

I think people like to bs on here alot I haven’t heard anything about st loius or Aberdeen being accepted, sounds to me they will be out. I can say pretty confidently that Hanley is losing a lot of players, sounds like they will struggle to ice a team and if they do I doubt the quality with be any good. Wouldn’t be surprised if they fold at the fall meeting. Would be very very suprised if Rosthern folded. I think that rumour is purely someone messing around on the forum. I could see Hanley packing it in and one of either Aberdeen or St.loius getting in if they still have enough interest. |

Ernie Mueller would never throw his hat in cause he needs to wear it with his suit on the bench. Heard Hanley is gunna be a mess, Anderson going to an LLHL team, and the rest of their top guys want out. St Louis had some money come in and wanted to spend it but heard they didn’t get a single vote yes to come back in the league. With regnier going to UofS wonder what zultok does, heard he has bigger money offers in other leagues (not sure why) Birch Hills gunna be a different team this year, losing a couple big pieces. Until the money is sorted and guys decide who’s playing where, I think it’s the Silvertips team to lose if they find a goalie who isn’t awful

Post also hinted they are going more of a local route, not a Rosthern fan but good to see a town continue to ice a team. Looks like shellbrook will be strong again, not sure what Rosthern will look like. Willow Cree will most likely be a contender again. Birch Hills and Allan always find a way to stay in the mix, wouldn’t be surprised if they have strong seasons and make an impact in the playoffs again. |
