Wow, a top team only has 1-2 teams to give them competition in their league. That MUST be rare and a valid reason to knock Kenaston down. There are 3-4 teams in the SVHL that are solid contenders for banners, and I saw Drake at Davidson last night - neither team would compete with Kenaston. But maybe I just saw Turkey legs? There’s no way kenaston would be perfect in the llhl lol.. But maybe they’d like to apply next year for some stiffer competition? Instead of steam rolling everyone. If kenaston is so mighty why didn’t they go A? Cause there scared Kenaston could beat any team in the province on any given night. Not sure why teams that choose to keep their roster the same and enter B/C/D rather than pick up players and sit down committed locals get knocked down a notch.

There is a big problem with picking up players for provies. If there is an incident, suspensions must be served with the same roster. If a player earns a suspension with a provincial roster that is different than their league one (even with 1 additional player), they have to serve their suspension with their provincial team before they can play with their league team. Kenaston suffered from this against Kerrobert a few years ago.

I’m the past teams Rescheduled games to get around this by scheduling less important games. I didn’t hear it changed.

SVHL is probably not quite as good as LLHL. But not because of the top end. There are simply more teams and probably more at the bottom end. That said the top 4/5 in each league look quite close in my and most peoples opinions. What makes SVHL so good is that it is a B league. Max 3 imports. That is why most SVHL teams go SHA and go in the lower categories. Not because of lesser competitors, but that is where the rules put them. How many teams enter a higher category than they can play in??? On top of that, these decisions are made before games are played and rosters are set.

With Wilkie’s loss last night in OT who is all left undefeated? Kenaston won in OT, Theodore is undefeated (but only played a handful of games), Wadena, Assiniboia, That’s it?
