6.12 Any player on a Big Six roster in the previous season will not be allowed to go to a different team within the League without a written release from that previous team. An appeal process will be hears at the Executive level when requested by the player According to the Carlyle Cougars website, Bienfait and the Holt’s parted ways at the end of last season. So I assume they have been released. |

Yes they where released by the coalers at the end of last season. The cougars r going to b a favorite for the league champs this yr as far as I kn the only player they have lost from last season is deck hes a big loss but he is also at the end of his career and misses a lot of games with injuries But he could help a team yet that has good d men to play with. Where he wasn’t the main man all the time

One thing is for sure the cougars will have a stacked team for senior A prov. This yr. They where lacking defence and goal tending last yr. That wil not happened this yr.

Deck is gone, the holt brothers are too small for when the games matter, look at what they did against Balcarres last year in provincials, they’ll forsure pick up players for provincials, but they’ll be washed or out of there prime |

Same trash about being favourites was said about Carlyle at the start of last year. They didn’t even make the finals.

The cougars have been talking to some players for prov. And trust me they r not washed up or over there prime they learned there lesson on those kinds of players the last 2 yrs. They r going to have a very strong team for league play also from
Wht I’m hearing with the holts and a couple new D men and a couple of there older guys hanging up the skates the goal tending issue is still up in the air according to coffee shop talk but it’s a work in progress and money talks 🤪🤪🤪🤪

Watching the cougars for many yrs is if they don’t get some defence and goal
Tending help the offence is not going. To get it done in the league or prov. That’s a nbrainer. Good defence man r hard to find and r worth the big dollars as is good goal

Word on the street is that the cougars will b getting some young guns from Double AA Estevan couple forwards and a d man and some talk about couple other new elite players
