I would like to see a tournament like this played in regina every yr. With the all stars or elite players from Some of the senior leagues in Sask. that would very interesting and some good hockey. I’m Sure u could get teams from all the top leagues to enter. And regina would b a pretty central location to have the tourney. It’s happening this weekend in Saskatoon and will happen every year. 1st place is 30 thousand dollars. You can enter a team as long as you have 2 Métis and 2 treaty natives on your team you’re good. Saskatoon is as central as it gets |

Did the rosters ever come out? or can someone post them with some results? Long Lake beat RL last night. Good game, haven’t seen Nailers or their roster. RL is making B side climb as they won two games today today already. RL is in B side Final, waiting for loser of nailers and Long Lake. Don’t have any official rosters. |

This tournament is a great idea. If they would market this properly with a website and lineups and social media presence they would get a lot more attention and maybe some large sponsors.

I agree this could b one of biggest and best Tournaments for sure and showcase some of the best senior hockey players in Canada

I agree this could b one of biggest and best Tournaments for sure and showcase some of the best senior hockey players in Canada Some of the native teams put on a good show but most of the games felt more like a pickup game between friends. Lots of skill but not a lot of intensity. |
