Hearing PP won’t be able to get a team going this year and is taking a year of absence. Very unfortunate and very difficult to get it going again once you take a year off. Hoping this is not true but came from a pretty reliable source. I’ve heard from a pretty reliable source that PP will not be taking a year of absence. Heard they picked some guys up and are bringing some guys back. pp just posted on their Facebook page about getting ready for the season |

Also heard that Lutz had a blow up with pp minor hockey, assuming he is out for them for sure, unlikely he even laced up the skates anyways. Curious to who they are adding and from what I heard they are bringing back some former players.

League updates:
16 game season (1 home 1 away with every team)
8 teams make playoffs.
Round one best of 3, semi-final and final both best of 5.
Opening weekend: Oct 25th
Nipawin and Hudson Bay both off probation
