I don’t believe there was any talk of Preeceville joining at the meeting last week. Carrot and Kelvington both applied but it will be decided in the fall. Wouldn’t the teams need to know before the fall if they are accepted so they can make sure to have players ? I don’t think Carrot is prepared for a team as of now. They have put in an application to declare that they are interested and working on a team |

Rumour has it Aberdeen has been in contact with the league about resurrecting?
The last time they were in the Wheatland, I think they didn’t even play the last few games that season.

Rumour has it Aberdeen has been in contact with the league about resurrecting? The last time they were in the Wheatland, I think they didn’t even play the last few games that season. I haven’t heard this but would have to think twin rivers is first choice for them. Then the wheatland if they can’t get in twin rivers. I’d be ok with 10 teams. Remember when the wheatland was suppose to fold two years ago.. now the possibility of ten teams for next season.. also looking at another post on here, I think porcupine will be alright for players. |

It’s been quiet. I’m sure with carrot river and Kelvington in the mix now, there might be a few teams losing some players. As for big names, haven’t heard much. Usually those players go to more skilled leagues closer to the city. Did hear though, Ukrainetz did move to lanigan area. Look for llhl teams to scoop him up.
