Whats the scoop on Kenaston’s keeper Tyler Peterson? Age? Where did he play junior? He looked confident and sharp tonight in Lumsden.

It shows that it doesn't always matter where you played. Big names don't always mean big results. He’s from Dalmeny. 21-23 age range. Played senior there last year and was an absolute stud. I know the leagues don’t compare but he was the backbone of them winning the twin rivers last season. |

Kenaston was the better team tonight. Defensively they plugged everything up in the middle and didn’t allow many shots through. Especially the last 6 mins of the game. They blocked a lot of shots. Would not be surprised either way if on who wins game 2.

Was expecting a tighter game. Thought D and goaltending would be the difference for Lumsden. Guess if it wasn’t for their goalie it could have been easily 8-1! Kenaston could have had a midget in net! Lumsden maybe had one real scoring chance the whole game . They did a great job of clogging the middle up. The best D on the ice isn’t even a D man Dulle was a stud. Lumsden D were absolutely Fara age couldn’t make a first pass, if it wasn’t for plexi glass they would have never gotten the puck out of their end. Kenaston has their way with them. Unless Lorne has a power play that might get a shot on net drawn up or Lumsden D decide to move their feet to create some room and open things up this series is over.

To say that it could have been 8-1 is laughable. It was an extremely tight game and the shots were dead even. Kenaston was more opportunistic on their chances and their defence did a hell of a job blocking jobs and clogging up the middle. That was the difference. Excited to see how Lumsden responds cause they seem to respond well after a loss. |

I guess haters are going to Hate, I don’t think Watkins was even at the game. Or his drugs kicked in and he was a little drowsy. First period was fast with Lumsden having the edge, 2 or 3 Breakaways stopped, Bliz goalie played excellent. It could have easily been 3-1 Lumsden. The questionable call to give the blizzard the 5 on 3 PP in the first was key. Second period I thought the Blizzards had the edge in play, but again both teams missed chances. Third was even Bliz blocked a lot off shots and the tender made some great saves again. This game could have gone either way I felt Lumsden had more quality chances. Both of these teams are blessed with skill, looking forward to seeing another great game tonight no mater who wins. Oh Mr Watkins if you were at the game instead of at home dreaming on how your team could have made it to the final only if… you would have notice Lumsdens starting goalie never played and a top D was missing, but yes Lumsdens goalie played well also. Tonight's game will be close either way, great teams

I watched the game on live barn, and have no bias to either team. The play was fairly equal but it seemed Kenaston was a lot more skilled and created better chances. Both teams with breakaways in the first. Other than that it didn't look like Lumsden had very many good chances to score. Blizz D did a great job taking away time and space. Unless Lumsden can generate more offense I can't see this series going 3.
