Don’t know Joey but he is the best D in the league could argue k byluch Sam Klassen, Eric Roy Either, hands down, no one else even close to their pedigree Funny with all this talk and bashing of Forsberg, and now the debate of “best defencemen in the league”… how is Connor Hobbs not in the talk? Played arguably the highest level the longest time of all the above, not as flashy in senior hockey as Forsberg but look at his AHL numbers, and what he’s doing now, not costing his team goals. I’m not a Wynyard fan for everyone’s assumption either Just the observation of someone that watches too much hockey |

It’s very unlikely for a forward to have 3 minute shift but easy for a defence man. Thoughts from the blue line |

This sounds like the guy who would pad his kids stays in U11 and make a healthy donation to a spring team so he can have a spot.
In todays game. If you’re a defenceman and have zero offensive ability, you are almost guaranteed to go nowhere.
Was a little disappointed in Hobbs this season, although he is steady and strong, he didn’t impress me as much as Klassen or even Hope from years past in Wadena.
Was another great season of hockey, lots of intense games and some drama on the ice never hurts.

Guys like Hobbs and forsberg Roy harmsworth klassen could fit in ipro hockey. Good skaters high iq. Leach is terrible skater. Hope is beyond bad skating
Senior hockey is a very different environment
Slower. Heavy guys can be effective
If bulych cared more about winning and not flashing his flow he would be better Immature Probably smarten up in a year or so

I definitely agree. In that last game forsberg’s skating really stood out compared to leach’s. It was the most noticeable when he would blow the doors off everyone and skate himself into the corner accomplishing nothing but being 60 feet out of position. Most times resulting in an odd man rush lol

This is for Gavin Ingram keep your head up tonight but cause Jesse is watching you. Also leach watch your teeth tonight hopefully you have teeth left at the end of the game cause it seems to be ok for you to knock out everyone else’s teeth.
